Roberto Elizondo

Mathematics

Mr. Elizondo earned a Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education with a concentration in Mathematics from SUNY Oneonta and a Master's Degree in Adolescent Special Education from Fordham University in New York City. He joined ACS in 2023 as a High School Math teacher. This is his 11th year teaching. He has taught in the South Bronx, West Palm Beach, Miami, Chicago, and most recently at Indian River. His previous courses include 4th-6th grade Math and Science, Pre Algebra, Algebra 1, Precalculus, and was a Special Education teacher at the high school level who co-taught Geometry and Biology. Here at ACS he will be teaching Applied Geometry, Geometry, Precalculus/Calculus, and Statistics.
Previously he has coached track and field, baseball, soccer, basketball, and flag football. He was also an after-school tutor through the 4-H program by the Cornell Cooperative Extension.

When not at school he loves finding new music to listen to and going to concerts. He also enjoys anything fitness related, whether that is playing a sport or going on a hike. Lastly, Mr. Elizondo is an animal lover and has a dog and two cats.
