Kylie Hebert is a PK-8th grade art teacher who has been teaching for over 18 years in the public school system. She began her career by teaching for 6 years in Broward County, Florida and has now additionally taught for 12 years at ACS. She has her undergraduate degree in Art and Education from Syracuse University and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Ceramics from Florida Atlantic University. She received Teacher of the Year at Embassy Creek Elementary in her first year of teaching and also achieved her National Boards Certification in 2008. Kylie studied Art and Education abroad in Italy and London while in University. And she's taught art classes for Hearts for Youth, The Clayton Handweaving Museum, and also hosts a Creative Kids Camp in the summer at her house. She's certified to teach yoga and kids’ yoga and resides in Alexandria Bay where she enjoys yoga, swimming, decorating, working on her house, reading, gardening, and spending time with her 2 lab kids.
