3rd Grade

“Hi! I’m very happy to be part of the ACS family! I have six years of experience teaching in the elementary grade levels. After earning a BA in Criminal Justice from SUNY Plattsburgh, I worked as a Wilderness Counselor for at risk youth. Seeing the needs of teens within this program, I found that being a strong role model for children was essential in their character development. From this, I decided to earn a MST in Childhood Education SUNY Potsdam.

I’m a proud father of 2 daughters and a son. My beautiful wife specializes in Speech-Language Pathology, and she has been a huge source of knowledge for me in my career. We have 2 Golden Retrievers, chickens, and a Greek tortoise! As a family, we enjoy getting out on the river as much as possible, hiking in the ADK’s, and attending our children’s sports and activities.

I believe in creating a fun, engaging, safe learning environment. My goal is to be effective in teaching the curriculum, while making it fun for the kids. Ultimately, I want students to love coming to school. I am eager to serve the students at ACS. ”
