Kerri Weldon
2nd Grade
Mrs. Weldon is a West Michigan native, growing up near Lake Michigan, where she graduated from Hope College with a BA degree and Western Seminary and MDiv degree. She moved to Alexandria Bay in 2002 and fell in love with the 1000 Islands. Mrs. Weldon has worked in public education since 2018. She began as a substitute teacher and fell in love with teaching. She continued to work as substitute while pursuing her teaching degree. She began working full time at ACS as a Teaching Assistant in the ACS MakerSpace and 6th grade. She graduated from SUNY Potsdam in 2021 with a MsED degree in elementary education and has taught second grade for two years and now she is in 6th grade. Mrs. Weldon has also taught many classes for as part of Ghost Academy and is a member of the PBIS and Literacy teams.
Mrs. Weldon, her husband, and three children love to explore the River region and, She also enjoys reading, quilting, baking and spending time with family and friends.
