• My Family

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to new families and students.  My name is Angela and I absolutely love teaching! I am so excited for our upcoming 2019-2020 school year in Kindergarten! My goal is to provide an engaging, exciting, safe, learning environment for your child. I have an Associate’s degree in Photography, a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Arts for Children (This is integrating visual arts, music, dance and theater into elementary education)  and a Master's degree in Elementary Education. I cannot believe it but I am entering my tenth year of teaching! I have had the pleasure to teach Elementary Art grades K-3, provided Academic Intervention Services in Math and ELA for grades K-6 and my all-time favorite: KINDERGARTEN!

When I am not teaching, I am busy with my family. My husband, Tim, Vivian who is going into 10th grade, Aveline going into 6th grade and our two dogs, Max and Luna.  We are active in soccer, basketball and softball. My favorite sport is soccer and I enjoy yoga and working out.  We are always outdoors in nature either swimming, hiking, biking, camping and a North Country favorite...playing in the snow!  I am a Girl Scout Leader and love adventure.

My love for the arts and hands on learning will be shared with your child throughout the school year. I will be working hard with your child this year on the fundamentals of Kindergarten. Our classroom community will be developed together, focusing on positive social skills such as, teamwork, safety, respect, awareness, personal space and self-control. I feel that academic achievement will be more obtainable once your child feels they are part of a community.

I cannot wait to meet my new school family and help them grow!
