Please check your child's agenda planner every night and sign for their At Home Reading. Please write the title of the book they are reading and the number of minutes they read as well as your signature.  We can't count the minutes if you haven't written it!

      The Content Schedule is on a three day rotation.

Social Studies is taught by Mrs. Dunham.

Science is taught by Mr. Plantz.

Computer Lab is taught by Mrs. Compeau.

We hope you had a great summer but we're both really glad to finally meet you all. We're so excited about this new year especially about welcoming Mr. Plantz to the fifth grade!  We will be starting right off the first day so you will need to have everything on your supply list.  Be sure to bring a list of the books you've read to help earn more points for your first team!  If you have a chance check out the teamwork link at the left to find out about the jobs you will be doing in the Cove.

We have found a great site that not only can help with vocabulary and your child's reading but can help people in many poverty stricken areas around the world.  The site is called "Free Rice".  Every time you go to this site you get to expand your vocabulary while earning free rice to be delivered to the poor in other nations who are starving.  Please, visit this site often.  It's a wonderful way to give while you are benefitting, too!  Just click on the banner below.
